A packed house at the Milne Room of the Barre Public Library led to a second showing an hour later to accommodate the crowd.

I was asked to show the Solar in Schools video and share info about Peregrine Productions April 10.  The rally was a big success with over 300 people attending and the videos I looped on the stunning 27 inch IMAC stopped folks in their tracks.

The latest in the history series, Life in Washington County airs twice this week on VPT. March 4th at 8pm and March 6th at 1pm.

Vince Franke donated time and equipment to produce a 7 minute program to supplement the application produced by Waterbury LEAP and Crossett Brook Middle School.  Installation will begin this Spring/Summer of 2010! The video can be watched by clicking here.

The 35-minute documentary which combines interviews from 19 locals, about 200 historic photos and local music is showing at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Montpelier at 6:30pm. It’s free to the public.

At 32nd International Wildlife Film Festival, Rattlers, Peepers and Snappers was awarded an Honorable Mention for Scientific Content.

Peregrine Productions collaborated with Oregon Wildlife Institute to produce two programs, each also dubbed in Spanish, that explore the unique wildlife of the San Joaquin Valley of California. You can view the programs on the Peregrine site. Through a grant, the DVD is available free to educators and available for $10+S&H for others interested in purchasing.

The Animal Behavior Society awards a film each year for it’s coverage of animal behavior. The 12 minute program “The Carrizo Plain” designed for the Carrizo Plains National Monument Visitor Center was given this award in July of 2009.

There is a free showing at the Grand Isle Lake House at 7:00pm. This local history documentary shares the stories and memories from seven island residents and tells of the days of steamships, ferries and winter ice roads on the lake.

Working with the Council on the Future of Vermont to condense the work and results from their 18 month project Peregrine Productions completed the first of 2 videos on May 11th. The program aired at their summit and s online at http://www.futureofvermont.org/
The Carrizo Plains National Monument now has a new video at their visitor center. The 10 minute program highlights the natural diversity of this unique and little known area.
