After graduating with a B.S. in Wildlife Science, Vince worked as a wildlife technician on a number of research projects in locations ranging from Alaska to Hawaii to California. By experimenting with video in his spare time, Vince quickly realized the power and results of video as an educational tool and has since teamed up with researchers, educators, land managers and non-profit organizations to make effective educational programs.
The subject matter of these collaborations has ranged from town histories to conservation issues to cultural new stories of foreign countries. Vince's programs have been seen in hundreds of classrooms throughout the United States and Canada.
Peregrine Productions has created many educational videos and documentaries including four programs currently being internationally distributed to educational facilities and institutions. Vince has traveled extensively from Alaska to West Africa to produce educational programs.

"Working collaboratively with Peregrine Productions, our research group has made significant strides in sharing research findings and conservation issues to a diverse public. It has been a great pleasure to work with Peregrine Productions in making our research findings on burrowing owls accessible to the public through videos and a bi-lingual DVD."

Vince Franke
“Vince was a great asset to our exchange trip. His ability to work with kids to produce high-quality news stories is truly impressive. He was able to capture essential elements of German culture on film - through interviews, voiceovers and simply through compelling camera work.”
